“The licensed site professionals association (lsrpa or the "association") used a consulting company, gei consulting, inc., to perform management duties. The association's executive director , susan boyle, is employed by gei consulting, inc. And is compensated for services provided to lsrpa. For the calendar year ended december 31, 2016, her compensation totaled 106,212. Executive director's salary is authorized by the president and subject to the consent of the board of trustees. The executive director serves as the primary administrator for lsrpa. She reports directly to the board of trustees (bot) of the association and working with the administrative assistant, coordinates activities with various association committees, attends committee meetings as needed, and assists with the preparation of meeting notes and serves as one of the external faces of lsrpa. The executive director assists the membership committee by organizing the association membership list, tracking membership, and identifying ways to expand membership in the association. Based on direction provided by the continuing education committee, the executive director serves as the primary "organizer" for continuing education provided by the association, books speakers, books venues, and obtains continuing education units (ceus) for courses offered by the association. The executive director also interfaces with the webmaster for the association, provides content to be posted to the association website, and coordinates bot-suggested improvements to the website. The executive director interacts with the treasurer of the association and the accountant for the organization to ensure that budgeting for succeeding years is properly performed and that association tax filings are timely submitted. The executive director schedules and coordinates a venue for the annual membership meeting at the end of the calendar year, plus any other membership meeting deemed appropriate by the board. In her role as the primary point of contact of the association, the executive director attends new jersey department of environmental protection (njdep) and the site remediation professional licensing board meetings that are relevant to the lsrpa and interacts regularly with individuals from both the njdep and the srplb. The executive director prepares written communications to the association membership through e- mail blasts, periodic newsletters or other website communications and may also be called upon to provide testimony to the njdep, or new jersey legislature on behalf of the lsrpa. As part of the overall effort to increase revenue for the association, the executive director reaches out to potential sponsors for the annual membership meeting, continuing education courses and other opportunities. Finally, the executive director, at the request of the bot, interacts with interest groups on behalf of the lsrpa.”
