Reducing Risky Behaviors and Promoting Healthy Activities Mentorship doesn't just contribute to personal and academic growth - it also helps at-risk youths make better choices and engage in positive activities: * Decreased Drug Use: Youths with mentors are 46% less likely to use illegal drugs than their peers without mentors, reducing the risk of substance abuse and its associated consequences. * Increased Extracurricular Participation: Mentored youths are 81% more likely to join after-school sports or extracurricular activities, promoting a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle.
