“Provides housing, food and clothing for women who are addicted to alcohol and/or drugs. The program houses the women for 6 months so they can be cared for and taught how to overcome addictions and live their lives as a productive member of society. We have had an 83% success rate with these women. We house a maximum of 16 women at a time. We always have a waiting list for women who want to go through this program.”
“The program provides in house teaching and daily classes to educate the women on how to overcome their addiction through the love of jesus. They are required to attend 8 hours of classes five days a week.the classes consist of parenting classes, cooking classes, cleaning and hygiene classes and most of all bible studies on how to overcome addiction and become strong women of god.”
“We have three houses on the property to provide aftercare for the women who need extra time to transition after graduating the program and who have children who need to renew their bond with their mothers and learn how to be a family again. The houses are provided to help teach the women how to provide for themselves and their children. The houses provide enough rooms for 6 families to live until they are ready to be on their own with their families. This has been an extremely successful aftercare program as the women have to be accountable for their income as well as being taught how to budget and maintain a household while being on their own. They are still required to attend church and certain aftecare classes to keep them full of the word of god so they are not tempted to go back into their addiction.”
