THE PROGRAM SERVICES ACTIVITY CATEGORY OF FAMILY SUPPORT ASSISTANCE SHOWED TOTAL EXPENDITURES OF 72,562. THE SUB-CATEGORY OF FOOD AND HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES CONTINUES TO BE THE LARGEST EXPENSE CATEGORY OF THE ORGANIZATION.-$72,562
PREPARING THE CHILDREN OF CLIENT FAMILIES FOR THEIR RETURN TO SCHOOL HAS GENERATED GREATER EMPHASIS IN PROVIDING SHOES AND WINTER COATS TO THE CHILDREN. THESE TWO ITEMS ARE ESSENTIAL TO THE CHILDREN'S WELL BEING IN LIGHT OF THE HARSH WINTER CONDITIONS OF THE MIDWEST. Approximately a total of 300 families actively participated in the services provided by the organization this year. The program services activity category of family support assistance showed total expenditures of 72,562. The sub-category of food and household supplies continues to be the largest expense category of the organization.

The organization continues to serve the youth of client families through english language tutoring along with computer education classes. Additionally,exposure to extracurricular activity both at school and outside of the classroom promotes confidence amongst the youth participants. A total of 9,322 was spent to enhance the children's educational status in a different setting from the traditional school environment.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 30

Preparing the children of client families for their return to school has generated greater emphasis in providing shoes and winter coats to the children. These two items are essential to the children's well being in light of the harsh winter conditions of the midwest. A total of 13,404 was expended for the shoe project, a winter coat project and necessary school supplies/books.
