Mission

Administers benefits for indigent and very low income, uninsured residents of roscommon county, osceola county, clare county, gladwin county, arenac county, and isabella county who are not eligible for any other insurance or coverage. The purpose of the program is to increase access to very basic health care services to people who typically can't afford it and, therefore, do not seek care.

The ongoing operations of the plan were discontinued effective march 31, 2014, as a result of the implementation of the affordable care act. The plan's activities for approximately twelve months after that date will be limited to payment of outstanding claims as they are submitted.
