Mission

Lake employees association for the developmentally disabled (leadd) is an organization dedicated to promote the health, education, training, and welfare of mentally retarded and/or developmentally disabled persons. We are committed to fostering relationships between parents, legal guardians, staff, and the general public to advance our program. We enable members to speak with a common voice on matters pertaining to the profession and to present our common interests before the lake county board of developmental disabilities (ohio)and other legal authorities. We develop and promote a continuing program to improve salary, fringe benefits, working conditions, job security and encourage the adoption of ethical practices, personnel policies, and standards of preparation and participation which mark a professional program.
