Potential conflicts were submitted to the CAHH directors for determination as to whether the potential conflict was an actual conflict and required implementation of conflict mitigation strategies. CAHH employees were required to review annually the conflict of interest policy of Community Nursing Service of DuPage County (the CAHH management company) and to complete a Conflict of Interest disclosure statement. In addition, the policy required that employees disclose potential conflicts that may have arisen between annual statements through supplementary disclosures. Any potential conflict disclosure was reviewed and evaluated, following the process used for employees of the management company, to determine whether a potential conflict was an actual conflict, and if so, conflict mitigation strategies were implemented.”
