The conflict of interest policy applies to all directors. Directors are personally accountable for learning, endorsing and promoting this policy and applying it to their own conduct and field of work. Directors are asked to review this policy and confirm on a regular basis, through written or electronic declaration, that they understand their individual responsibilities and will conform to the requirements of this policy. Directors with questions or a specific situation are directed to the chair of the board of directors. The board chair determines if a conflict of interest exists and reviews the details of the conflict. The board chair ensures no reportedly conflicted director participates in any decisions or operation related to the conflict.
