“In 2024, this included providing access to safe, reliable water to a primary school, a community of 2,600, and a health clinic that serves a population of over 30,000 people in Kenya. It also included providing mentorship and counseling services to 160 teenage girls in Kenya, hosting three girls' empowerment conferences, providing over 300 hygiene supply kits, and awarding 53 university and 104 secondary school scholarships to girls in Kenya, as well as 34 to girls and boys in Ethiopia. THS also engaged in local advocacy events to bring awareness to the challenges children face in our partner communities, such as combating practices like female genital mutilation, early marriage, and championing the importance of equal opportunity for education.”

It also included providing mentorship and counseling services to 160 teenage girls in Kenya, hosting three girls' empowerment conferences, providing over 300 hygiene supply kits, and awarding 53 university and 104 secondary school scholarships to girls in Kenya, as well as 34 to girls and boys in Ethiopia. THS also engaged in local advocacy events to bring awareness to the challenges children face in our partner communities, such as combating practices like female genital mutilation, early marriage, and championing the importance of equal opportunity for education.
