Engage diverse communities with string ensemble music through the performance of our innovative arrangements, education, and outreach.

Sphere Ensemble is a large string ensemble comprised of professional, classically-trained musicians. They seek to: 1. Inspire in audiences a spirit of harmonious cooperation that can be uniquely experienced through sharing music with others. 2. Break down barriers between artist and audience by performing a mixture of musical styles. 3. Reach audiences that are new to classical-style programs. 4. Perform a diverse repertoire that utilizes member musicians' skills at arranging music for Sphere from a wide range of original sources. 5. Bring high quality performances to populations that have limited or no access to live music in settings that may or may not be typical performance settings. 6. Model a collaborative approach to performing in educational programs aimed at youth, whether they play an instrument or not, as a vehicle to teach collaboration.
