“workshops, students learned to advocate for their privacy rights from military recruiters using community advocacy skills such as media product, organizing events, campus”

“outreach, letter writing, door knocking and delegations. Hawaii Peace and Justice supports a collaboration across four islands to raise awareness about the costs of and”

“alternatives to military service. The collaboration, called 808 Truth 2 Youth, is developing an online resource on alternatives to the military.”

“Hawaii Peace and Justice continues to research, conduct education, and support local activism adressing military related impacts in Hawaii. One of the popular projects is called Hawaii DeTours, a historical and geographic study”

“tour of various military impacted sites on Oahu. We provide these services to local universities, high schools, community and church groups as well as visiting conferences and delegations of scholars, activists, educators, artists,”

“writers, and media producers. Hawaii Peace and Justice supports local womens' groups who are confronting the effects of militarization on women, which connects with the International Network of Women Against Militarism.”
