This program was implemented in 15 different food pantries. 2. They chose 4 different pantries to develop innovational programs in and awarded them each 500 for their programs. Some of the innovations that were implemented included -transitioning a pantry to a site where people could choose their own food instead of having it selected by someone on staff. -creating gardens in the homes of several clients -a latino pantry taught english lessons, nutrition, and cooking classes”
