“Form 990 is prepared by our Treasurer early in January each year and presented to the entire Board of Directors at our annual meeting held on the 2nd Saturday of January. The audited financial statements and unaudited financial reports are also presented in conjunction with Form 990 and accompanying schedules. A copy of the forms are provided in the meeting packet and the highlights of the returns are presented by the Treasurer.”

“All directors and officers on our Board of Directors are required to sign our Conflict of Interest Policy Acknowledgement and submit a signed Conflict of Interest Disclosure form which is reviewed by and signed by officers. These forms are signed when a director is first elected and then re-signed at each Annual Meeting. During the year all directors are asked to disclose any new possible conflicts to the officers. Each disclosure form states the limitations of that director based on their conflict of interest. Most limitations are related to voting on anything to do with the conflict. Some limitations are related to determining compensation for the Program Director due to personal or familial relationships.”

“Our Program Director is the only paid position and compensation is reviewed annually by the Directors and Officers that dont have a Conflict of Interest due to personal or familial relationships 5 out of 10 directors officers have this conflict of interest so only 5 members of the board determine compensation. The compensation is reviewed at the end of the year based on performance comparison to industry wages and average wage increases. The compensation team then determines the new compensation for the upcoming year including any bonus and they communicate any changes to the Treasurer for Budgeting and Payroll purposes and also communicate to the Program Director.”

“We dont post any governing documents financial statements or tax filings to our website but we provide most of those items to the public when requested. Financial statements and internal policies are usually only provided with grant proposals. Tax forms open to public inspection are provide upon request.”
