THE NCAA MEN'S FINAL FOUR GENERATED A TOTAL ECONOMIC IMPACT OF $168.6 MILLION, COMPRISED OF $93.5 MILLION IN DIRECT SPENDING AND $75.1 MILLION IN SECONDARY SPENDING. SPENDING AT THE EVENT ALSO RESULTED IN THE CREATION AND SUPPORT OF 2,164 FULL- AND PART- TIME JOBS. THESE JOBS CREATED A TOTAL OF $49.5 MILLION IN ADDITIONAL EARNINGS FOR RESIDENTS OF THE NEW ORLEANS AREA.
