THESE GET-TOGETHERS WERE HELD IN PRIVATE HOMES AND WERE TYPICALLY FULLY OR LARGELY SUBSIDIZED BY THE HOST. AT THE PRESENT TIME, TFL-US, INCORPORATED OPERATES MOSTLY BY WORD OF MOUTH, THROUGH THE EFFORTS OF ITS DIRECTORS, AND THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKING, TO REACH POTENTIAL DONORS. TFL-US, INCORPORATED EXPANDED ITS REACH BEYOND NEW YORK, AND BEYOND INDIVIDUALS TO NGO'S, FOUNDATIONS AND THE US GOVERNMENT. THERE ARE LARGE AND PROSPEROUS LEBANESE COMMUNITIES IN MAJOR REGIONS OF THE US SUCH AS NEW ENGLAND, THE MIDWEST, THE BAY AREA IN CALIFORNIA, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, TEXAS, FLORIDA, AND NORTHCAROLINA. TFL PROVIDES FREQUENT UPDATES ON ITS ACTIVITIES ORALLY AND IN WRITING TO TFL-US. C. TFL ALSO PROVIDES UPDATES/REPORTS TO TEACH FOR ALL (TFA), THE UMBRELLA ORGANIZATION THAT INCLUDES TEACH FOR AMERICA AS WELL AS OTHER "TEACH FOR..." PROGRAMS (SOME 60 OR SO AROUND THE WORLD). TFL-US IS IN REGULAR TOUCH WITH TFA TO MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS THAT WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF. D. TFL ALSO PROVIDES FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AT THE END OF THE YEAR. E. TFL'S EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IS IN FREQUENT CONTACT BY ZOOM, PHONE AND EMAIL WITH THE PRESIDENT OF TFL-US AND THE BOARD OF TFL-US. F. INDIVIDUAL BOARD MEMBERS VISIT TFL WHEN PASSING THROUGH LEBANON, MEET THE CEO AND HIS STAFF, VISIT SCHOOLS, AND TALK WITH FELLOWS AND PRINCIPALS OF THE SCHOOLS VISITED.
