The corporation has adopted fasb asc 740-10 and accounting standards update (asu) 2009-06. As part of that adoption, the corporation considered the possibility of uncertain tax positions and their impact on the financial position of the organization. The most significant tax position of the organization is its tax-exempt status. As of june 30, 2014, management did not identify any uncertain tax positions.

MWC ALSO DEVELOPS PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE LOW-INCOME, LOW-SKILLED INDIVIDUALS WITH THE CHANCE TO SIMULTANEOUSLY ACQUIRE ADULT BASIC EDUCATION (ABE) OR ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) SKILLS AND OCCUPATIONAL TRAINING. IN ADDITION, MWC ADMINISTERS PROGRAMS THAT ASSIST INDIVIDUALS WITH RE-EMPLOYMENT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EXHAUSTED THEIR UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE BENEFITS. MWC CONTINUES TO PARTNER WITH OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, FOUNDATIONS, BUSINESSES AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO DEVELOP AND ADMINISTER WORKFORCE RELATED PROJECTS IN THE AREAS OF LABOR, EDUCATION AND HUMAN SERVICES.
