(continued from page 2, line 4a) jobs2vets is a grant-funded work restoration and peer recovery program for veterans receiving behavioral healthcare from the east orange and lyons campuses of the veterans affairs new jersey healthcare system. Jobs2vets provides job, motivational coaching, resume writing, job-search and school application assistance, individual counseling, support and guidance and supportive employment. Results: before jobs2vets only 22% of our participants were earning income or in school. After completing our services this percentage increased to 61%. Social enterprises: our three social enterprises are as follows: the maveric golf driving range, the veterans greenhouse and the foxhole bbq and catering. These enterprises provide supportive employment opportunity to veterans with barriers to employment and who are referred to us by the va medical center in lyons, nj. Results: we provide services to some 50 participants annually. Each participant is also referred to our jobs2vets services. Participants are exposed to customer serice, greenhouse maintenance, plant care, work readiness, skill building and receive situational observation by managers in order to assess the daily progress of the participants.

JOBS2VETS PROVIDES JOB, MOTIVATIONAL COACHING, RESUME WRITING, JOB-SEARCH AND SCHOOL APPLICATION ASSISTANCE, INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING, SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE AND SUPPORTIVE EMPLOYMENT. RESULTS: BEFORE JOBS2VETS ONLY 22% OF OUR PARTICIPANTS WERE EARNING INCOME OR IN SCHOOL. AFTER COMPLETING OUR SERVICES THIS PERCENTAGE INCREASED TO 61%. SOCIAL ENTERPRISES: OUR THREE SOCIAL ENTERPRISES ARE AS FOLLOWS: THE MAVERIC GOLF DRIVING RANGE, THE VETERANS GREENHOUSE AND THE FOXHOLE BBQ AND CATERING. THESE ENTERPRISES PROVIDE SUPPORTIVE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY TO VETERANS WITH BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT AND WHO ARE REFERRED TO US BY THE VA MEDICAL CENTER IN LYONS, NJ. RESULTS: WE PROVIDE SERVICES TO SOME 50 PARTICIPANTS ANNUALLY. EACH PARTICIPANT IS ALSO REFERRED TO OUR JOBS2VETS SERVICES. PARTICIPANTS ARE EXPOSED TO CUSTOMER SERICE, GREENHOUSE MAINTENANCE, PLANT CARE, WORK READINESS, SKILL BUILDING AND RECEIVE SITUATIONAL OBSERVATION BY MANAGERS IN ORDER TO ASSESS THE DAILY PROGRESS OF THE PARTICIPANTS.
