“The 567 center for renewal is a community space for entrepreneurs, artists, and musicians who will bring a collaboratively creative life to downtown macon and surrounding areas through events, classes, and business development.”

“The 567 center for renewal hosted 294 art classes through 2024. In addition, there was an opening to show art exhibits almost every month of the year for 11 total. The exhibits featured work by professional artists, emerging artists, and youth in a range of mediums. The 567 center for renewal also encouraged engagement with art through public art programs in 2024. It brought 3 new sculptures to macon for outdoor enjoyment through the macon sculpture walk and hosted an art scavenger hunt to find murals and sculptures. The 567 center for renewal has a shared pottery studio that artists can use to work in at a discounted price. The studio includes all of the supplies, tools, and equipment necessary to create pottery. In 2024, 40 artists used our pottery studio to create artwork and practice their craft. The 567 center for renewal also provided art education opportunities through a 3-day art festival that it organized in 2024. The festival offered art demonstrations in a variety of different art mediums, including pottery, glass blowing, wood carving, wood turning and blacksmithing.”
