“Nantucket disc golf's mission is to promote the mental and physical well- being of the youth on nantucket by providing a healthy, inexpensive, family-friendly, year-round recreational alternative. Nantucket disc golf feels strongly that disc golf is an activity that fits in quite well with what nantucket needs and are installing and maintaining the course, and promoting the sport of disc golf on the island for years to come.”

“In 2024, nantucket disc golf continued hosting clinics and partnering with other island organizations in order to educate nantuckets youth on the sport of disc golf. Ndg partnered with addiction solutions to host three free disc golf clinics at nantucket disc golf course, totaling 13 students across the three clinics. Again in 2024, our biggest partnership was with the nantucket boys and girls club in spring. We held 7 demonstrations for the b&gc, three at the course, and four at the club. These demonstrations averaged 12 students each, giving us 84 students total with these programs. We were happy to hold the 4th annual rising tide cup disc golf tournament to support the rising tide children's school. The event included a demonstration and participation clinic for a total of 16 children and 7 adults. In the fall, ndg had a disc golf booth at the nantucket island fair. The fair had about 900 visitors over the two days, and we had 32 children visit our booth and try disc golf. It was a very successful year.”
