“Primary exempt purpose:To provide a source of sustainable funding to local 501(c)(3) organizations in our community. To provide a place for citizens to recycle and reuse household items. Statement of Program Accomplishments:5 Jewish non-profit agencies and synagogues were presented checks that totaled $18,671. The amount of the contribution to each agency was based on the donations received by and the hours volunteered by their constituents. Those agencies serve religious, spiritual, social, medical and recreational needs in our community. Those non-profits include the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona, Hadassah Southern Arizona, Tucson Jewish Community Center, Chabad of Tucson and Congregation Anshei Israel. These amounts represent the final distribution of the assets of the organization.”
