“The institute of continued learning at roosevelt university ("iclru") provides senior citizens (age 55 and over)with non-credit academic and social programs.”

“Classroom programs led by iclru volunteer coordinators. There are approximately 20 classes per term held once per week with approximately 900-1000 classroom seats filled per term: spring (9 weeks) summer (5 weeks) fall (9 weeks) winter (5 weeks)”

“Lecture series & seminars on various topics led by non-iclru experts in their respective fields. Attendance average 170-200 members per lecture. The lectures are funded by membership dues. The seminar activities are funded by fees charged to attending members.”

“Field trips & social events - funded by fees charged to attending members. 2017 field trips to klairmont kollections museum, wrigley field, the adler planetarium & the pabst mansion. The trips are typically attended by 30-40 members.social events held in 2017 were - annual meeting, an appreciation luncheon, a holiday party, a march event and an ice cream social.”
