To enrich the community by providing plots in a central gathering place for members to plant vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, and enjoy the fruits of our labor. To offer an opportunity for members to "adopt" families in need, shelters, transition homes, homeless people, food banks, etc. To share their crops. To provide the community with sustainable produce in times of natural or man-made disasters, as well as during hard economic times. To foster "green" programs, environmental awareness, healthy organic living, and a sense of community.

THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE 20-25 GRANTS FOR SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY TO PLANT OVER 1000 TREES, TO CARE FOR AND MAINTAIN THE TREES, AND TO MEASURE GREENHOUSE GAS REDUCTIONS VIA CALCULATING TOTAL CARBON STORED BY THE TREES FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS. TO PROVIDE A GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN TRAINING PROGRAM, WHICH WILL PROVIDE TRAINEES WITH INFORMATION REGARDING THE CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF TREES, CLIMATE CHANGE, ASSESSMENT OF TREE HEALTH AND CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY TO MEASURE CARBON STORED BY TREES. TO PRODUCE A PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN REGARDING THESE PROGRAMS AND THE BENEFITS THEREOF WITH PBS.
