Form 990

The organization is managed by volunteer officers and directors and no compensation is paid as a result of such volunteer status. Travel costs are associated with the annual fundraising trip for pastoral program representatives.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

Apufram international continued to financially support apufram's efforts to carry out their goals of providing all levels of education, housing, food, clothing, medical, psychological & dental care as well as spiritual guidance to young people in extreme poverty in honduras and the dominican republic. All apufram schools (4) and boarding facilities (6 in honduras and 1 in the dominican republic) were open. Ai also helped apufram maintain four facilities housing university students in honduras and one in the dr. Donors designated contributions for the following projects in honduras: renovation of the guesthouse; conversion of two classrooms at santa ana primary school into a kindergarten room and remodeling of a bathroom at the same school; the continuation of fence installation around the san antonio de padua home for young boys. In addition, construction of a new church in the suyapa barrio of comayagua was funded by a grant from an endowment fund affiliated with a u.s. Diocesan catholic foundation. Financial support was also provided to seven priests who must travel many miles to minister to their parishioners in rural parts of honduras in addition to eight lay pastoral workers ministering in rural communities. In 2024 ai sponsored two volunteer groups from wisconsin whose members traveled to mission sites in honduras. One group's project included renovation work at the santa ana primary school and the visitor center. The second group joined with the local community to construct their new parish church in suyapa. Finally, 200 students (grade school to university level) in honduras and the d.r. Were supported by individuals or groups through the ai sponsorship program.

DONORS DESIGNATED CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS IN HONDURAS: RENOVATION OF THE GUESTHOUSE; CONVERSION OF TWO CLASSROOMS AT SANTA ANA PRIMARY SCHOOL INTO A KINDERGARTEN ROOM AND REMODELING OF A BATHROOM AT THE SAME SCHOOL; THE CONTINUATION OF FENCE INSTALLATION AROUND THE SAN ANTONIO DE PADUA HOME FOR YOUNG BOYS. IN ADDITION, CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CHURCH IN THE SUYAPA BARRIO OF COMAYAGUA WAS FUNDED BY A GRANT FROM AN ENDOWMENT FUND AFFILIATED WITH A U.S. DIOCESAN CATHOLIC FOUNDATION.
