The heart of embrace the nations has to do with people groups, particularly refugees, who are far from home and are now living in the united states. For most, civil war has stolen everything and caused them to flee for their lives. Refugees never planned to come to the united states, but they are grateful for legal passage and a new place to call home. The transition is overwhelming: new language, new culture, new rules. Embrace the nations helps refugees accomplish what is necessary to successfully assimilate. This happens through building trusting relationships, offering support through the sharing of information and resources, helping to strengthen work, school, legal and social footholds and spending a lot of time listening and caring. This organization also believes that every person, no matter who they are, should have the opportunity to hear about the gospel of jesus christ if they choose.
