Part iii -4d our executive director is dual licensed as a professional counselor and as an alcohol and drug counselor. She donated $6,000 worth of in-kind professinal services to the batterers intervention program. She completed domestic violence assessments and wrote court reports which took over 234 hours of her time in 2016.part iii -4b our executive director is dual licsensed as a professinal counselor and as an alcohol and drug counselor. She donated $6,000 worth of in-kind professinal services to the alcohol and drug substance abuse course program. She completed 117 substance abuse evaluations which took 234 hours of her time in 2016.part iii -4c our executive director is dual licensed as a professional counselor and as an alcohol and drug counselor. She donated $3,030 part iii - 4c contd - worth of in kind prof services to the family services program. She interviewed parents, attended court on their behalf, facilitated parenting classes, and wrote court reports which took 118 hours of her time in 2016.part iii - 4c our 4th program is our family services program which provided evidence based parenting classes to parents involved with child welfare services after findings of neglect or abuse. In 2016, we provided an 8 week parenting class to 13 parents of chilren aged 1 to 5. Scars also provided an 18 week parenting class to 17 parents of children aged 5 to 12. Scars is the only organization in our country that offers parenting classes and the court-mandated 4-hour parenting seminar for parents who are divorcing with minor children. In 2016, we part iii - 4c contd - provided this seminar to 43 parents.part iv - 11b the executive director will review the return with our cpa and seek clarification on any items. A board meeting is then held and copies of the return are passed out to each member of the quorum for their review, questions and approval.part iv - 12c scars has a conflict of interest policy. The conflict of interest policy discusses the definition, duty to disclose, how to identify conflicts, and the procedures for addressing conflicts. Each board member signs a copy of our own conflict of interest policy when they become a board member and it is reviewed at the beginning of each year.part vi - 19 these documents are available upon request.

OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IS 1 OF ONLY 5 CERTIFIED ASSESSORS PROVIDING THESE TYPES OF ASSESSMENTS WITHIN OUR 900 SQUARE MILE COUNTY. IN 2016, SHE COMPLETED 166 ADSAC ASSESSMENTS TO 126 MALE AND 40 FEMALE OFFENDERS CHARGED WITH EITHER DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OR DRUG POSSESSION. OF THESE ASSESSMENTS, 74% WERE COMPLETED ON CLIENTS LIVING IN CANDIAN COUNTY. THE OTHER 26% OF ASSESSMENTS WRE COMPLETED ON CLIENTS LIVING IN 1 OF 9 OTHER COUNTIES. EACH ASSESSOR IS ABLE TO PRINT OUT THEIR ANNUAL DUI ASSESSMENT DEMOGRAPHIC REPORT WHICH SHOWS ALL OUTCOME MEASURES, INCLUDING THE LEVEL OF CARE TO WHICH EACH OFFENDER WAS REFERRED FOR TREATMENT.SCARS OFFERS THE STATE CERTIFIED 10 HOUR ADSAC COURSE AND THE 24 HOUR

OUR COUNTY IS COMPRISED OF 900 SQUARE MILES AND INCLUDES PARTS OF WESTERN OKLAHOMA CITY PLUS OTHER OUTLYING AREAS WHICH ARE STILL CONSIDERED A PART OF THE METROPOLITAN AREA. HOWEVER, SCARS HAS ALSO GARNERED A NAME FOR ITSELF IN OTHER RURAL COUNTIES WEST OF OKLAHOMA CITY DUE TO OUR OBJECTIVE AND DETAILED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COURT REPORTS AND EFFECTIVE CLASSES. A NUMBER OF ATTORNEYS AND COUNTY COURT SYSTEMS REFER THEIR CLIENTS TO US AND A NUMBER OF THEM DRIVE THE ONE-WAY DISTANCE OF 100 MILES EACH WEEK FOR THEIR 52 WEEK CLASS. IN 2016, WE COMPLETED 44 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ASSESSMENTS AND COURT REPORTS ON OFFENDERS WHO LIVED OUSTIDE OF CANADIAN COUNTY. IN ADDITION, WE PROVIDED THE 52 WEEK BATTERERS INTERVENTION PROGRAM TO A TOTAL OF 5 WOMEN AND 84 MEN IN 2016.
