Financial Statement Notes

Part IV, Line 2B: Explanation of escrow account liability

Security deposits are collected from residents upon admission to the facility in accordance with u.s. Department of hud regulations. The funds are maintained in a separate fdic insured bank account. Amounts are returned, net of any damages incurred, to the resident when they leave the facility in accordance with hud regulations.

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

Neider House, Ltd., Project No. 124-EE023 is a nonprofit organization exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3). In accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, the Project is required to disclose certain information regarding potential liabilities regarding its tax positions it currently takes or has taken in prior years. Currently, there are no unrecognized tax benefits or liabilities that need to be recognized during current year or due to a tax position taken in a prior year. If the Project were to have a potential liability for such taxes, it would also accrue interest and penalties as a liability in the financial statements. The Project expects no unrecognized tax benefits that will be incurred within the next year of the date of these financial statements. The Project is not subject to income tax examinations for three years prior to the current year by federal or state tax authorities.

IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt1Neider House, Ltd., Project No. 124-EE023 is a nonprofit organization exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3). In accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, the Project is required to disclose certain information regarding potential liabilities regarding its tax positions it currently takes or has taken in prior years. Currently, there are no unrecognized tax benefits or liabilities that need to be recognized during current year or due to a tax position taken in a prior year. If the Project were to have a potential liability for such taxes, it would also accrue interest and penalties as a liability in the financial statements. The Project expects no unrecognized tax benefits that will be incurred within the next year of the date of these financial statements. The Project is not subject to income tax examinations for three years prior to the current year by federal or state tax authorities.
