“The purpose of the eicosanoid research foundation (erf) is to provide a forum for the dissemination of the latest scientific information on bioactive lipids in health and disease as it relates to cancer, inflamation and inflamation induced diseases such as cardiovascular, diabetes, psoriasis and alzheimer's. The eicosanoid research foundation sponsors bi-annual conferences highlighting data at the cutting edge of medical science. During these conferences new drugs and medications are discussed, data on clinical trials is examined and scientists interact to enhance their collaborative research efforts. The goal of this meeting series is to promote the exchange of information and ideas amoung scientists of diverse backgrounds from around the world. The sole purpose of the eicosanoid research foundation is to raise funds to sponsor the international conference on bioactive lipids in cancer, inflammation and related diseases thereby promoting advances in this area of science and medical research.”

The conference successfully promoted the exchange of ideas and theories in this area amoung scientists and medical professionals around the world, in an effort to find a cure for cancer. The organization is currently planning its 2019 bi-annual conference to be held in st. Petersburg, florida.”

The symposium addresses the vital roles of lipids in cellular processes required for normal physiological function. The third symposium was held on may 11, 2016 at the coach insignia located on the 72nd floor of the detroit renaissance center in detroit, michigan and was well attended.”
