“The maine behavioral health program does not have any employees. All operational functions of the organization are performed on a contracted basis by the maine physician hospital organization, inc (mpho), a wholly owned subsidiary of mainehealth. Mpho staff are contracted from maine medical partners (mmp), also a wholly owned subsidiary of mainehealth. Mmp does maintain appropriate conflicts of interest, whistleblower and document retention policies that are followed by staff involved in the contracted functions performed on the behalf of the maine behavioral health program. The maine behavioral health program's board of trustees does complete an annual conflict of interest disclosure.”
