“Requip has lead fourteen trainings/workshops in the following subjects: asset based community development, community listening: practical tools for listening and organizing with your neighbors, being relevant in your community, asset mapping, church in a transitioning community, the power with transforming communities, benevolence ministries, strategic planning, the overview of the christian community development philosophy and deacon and elder training. Requip participated in a speaking role in four conferences. Requip leads/hosts a monthly community engagement group of ten pastors, social workers, and lay leaders focusing on community transformation. Requip leads/hosts a monthly gathering urban leaders whose mission is: "as urban mentors and peers we seek to develop transformational urban leaders who embrace and advance how god is holistically at work in local neighborhoods". Requip has worked in a coaching/consulting roll with seven churches and npos working in seven different neighborhoods. The ceo of requip sits on three boards, crosspoint, faith rooted chicago, youth on the move serving others and lawndale christian legal center's young professionals board. Requip is an active partner with crosspoint ministries, micah group, communities first association and the christian community development association. Requip took an active role in organizing the communities first association's biannual meeting. Requip reviewed, rewrote and developed new curriculum for the christian community development association for their academic partners, pre- conference, immersion, and intensives.”
