“1 uphandles, inc was organized to assist high school student athletes to become well-rounded individuals and to encourage the youth to stay physically active as part of a healthy life style. The organization will use sports as the vehicle to promote self worth, teamwork, motivation and respect to youth so that they may be more successful in their future.”

“Summer camps - our summer camp was developed to 'empower current & future student-athletes' through academics (math, reading & writing) sports and fine arts. We believe our summer camp offers a unique blend of activites which allows our participants to continue honing their skills in an arena of familiarity or simply try something new. The sports/activities offered are: basketball, soccer, tennis, dance, cheer, fashion, board games and arts & crafts. We were able to provide these benefits to 82 children and offered scholarships to 21 children providing 15,750 of benefits to the community.”

“After school program - our after school sports programs consist of basketball, soccer, flag football and tennis. These six week classes are held one day a week with an emphasis on physical activity, discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork through sports. We were able to provide these benefits to 745 children and offered scholarships to 12 children providing 600 of benefits to the community.”

“Dance, cheer and fashion academy - this academy combines jazz and hip-hop dance, exciting cheers, stunts and fashion as a form of individuality as well as group cohesion. The culminating event is a carefully orchestrated performance which builds a healthy self esteem and confidence in each participant. We were able to provide these benefits to 18 children.”
