To promote the well being of underprivileged and underserved children and young adults; through academic and social programs including: the provision of scholarships to college bound students; college readiness preparedness including the provision of tours to colleges and universities; and mentorship program targeting elementary to high-school aged students.

In 2019 the 3L Foundation Inc launched its innagural college preparatory workshops and HBCU college tour. The college preparatory workshops included sessions on selecting a college, the application process, admission test requirements, financial aid, transitioning to college life, leadership, and team building. In total there were 6 workshops including a post college and university tour workshop. For seven days in April 2019 the HBCU college and university tour visited 12 colleges across 6 states. There were 32 students and 6 chaperones on the HBCU college and university tour. The workshops were provided for the 32 students with approximately 15 guest speakers. Initiating and operating these workshops and college tour is within the 3L Foundation's short and longterm objectives which include the promotion of higher education to underserved communities.$0$19,737
In 2019 the 3L Foundation Inc. provided nine scholarships to high school graduating seniors that were admitted and attending college as 1st year students for the 2019-2020 academic year. The scholarship awards ranged from $250 to $1,000.00 per student for an overall total of $5,750.00. The scholarship program was announced to local high schools and community groups in within Queens, New York. High School students submitted applications and were selected to attend an in-person interview. The ongoing evaluation and scholarship determination included a review of student grades, essay, letters of recommendations, and community service.$5,750$5,750

For 2019, the 3L Foundation Inc paid bank fees in the amount of $10.35. These charges were assessed for one month where the account balance fell below the threshold that would allow for bank fees to be waived. In 2019, the 3L Foundation provided a comprehensive mentoring program working with elementary to high-school aged children. The program included monthly workshops with a focus on character development, reading, a youth summit, and bowling mentor event. The ability to deliver this programming was made possible by a $4,200.00 grant provided by New York City Department of Youth and Community Services. The expenditures in delivering this program include the following: $1,458.00 for bags, water bottles, and T-shirts; $442.00 mentor/mentee bowling event; $2,075 youth summit registration and travel; $438.00 meals, water, and snacks; and $502.00 books, pens and notepads. In addition to the $4,200.00 grant, the remainder of mentor programming costs ($705.00) was funded by ongoing fundraising efforts throughout 2019 which covered the program cost of $4,915.00.
