“| Explanation:| Peru: Grants - $0. Expenses: $4,650 Dr. Thornton's work in Peru with the George Washington group of schools and churches involves training teachers and pastor's in orality skills to improve depth of learning. our general work there was also limited due to COVID 19. The network of schools were forced to meet virtually due to COVID 19 for most of the year. In person instruction began late in the year with fewer students than previous. Thus with fewer students there was less money from tuition and some teachers were let go. Money forwarded during the year provided much needed economic relief for salaries and operating expenses. A portion of those funds were also used in the weekly feeding program for children in the poorest areas of the city of Chincha.”

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 6 | | Explanation:| Peru: Grants - $0. A portion of those funds were also used in the weekly feeding program for children in the poorest areas of the city of Chincha. |
