“Afa leaders foundation, inc. ("organization") was formed as a nonprofit,charitable organization organized and operated for the purpose of supporting and/or benefiting agriculture future of america, inc., an organziation recognized as exempt from federal income taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revnue code. The organization was formed and operated to carry out the purposes of agriculute future of america in its efforts to locaate and develop the best and brightest leaders fo the future of agriculture. The organization is not empowered to support or benefit any organization other than agriculture future of america. The organization will generate public and private support to fund the identification of accomplished student leaders and assist in the development, training and education of these leaders in the field of agriculture and agri-business. The organization will work hand-in-hand with agriculture future of america and its many educational institution and rural community partners to effectively provide leadership and career devfelopment training. The organization will also engage in educatinal fundraising activities to raise money for the aforementioned activities and to raise money for agriculutre future of america in its support of its program services. It is anticipated that all of the organization's time will be expended on the above programs.”

“No grants, expenses or revenue have ocurred in 2018. The organization was reinstated effective july 19, 2018. The effective date of exemption is february 19, 2018. We request that any penalty for failure to file the 2018 form 990-ez timely will be abated because we have had no activity or revenue.”
