In 2021, Justice First expanded its educational efforts to examine the root causes of poverty, inequality and war with the launch of a podcast that is available on multiple online streaming services. The podcast, The Socialist Program, airs three times each week and features guests and experts on a wide range of topics that are central to social justice issues and movements. The podcast has an ever widening listenership with more than one million downloads during the past year. One of the three weekly episodes is now also featured weekly as a YouTube video with a rapidly expanding audience.”

“$47075 In 2021, Justice First expanded its multimedia educational efforts by collaborating with like-minded 501c3 organizations on the production of a series of videos that deal with global and domestic social justice issues. The format of short explainers, aimed for social media, made accessible to a youth audience global topics that are typically considered too complicated. These ranged from explaining legislative policy packages dealing with police reform, to the history of the filibuster, to humanitarian crises in the Horn of Africa, all depending on what was pressing in the news. These videos received several hundred thousand views collectively on various YouTube pages, with JF helping to craft them.”

In 2021, SPTP provided mutual aid to affected community members as well as educational forums online, highlighting the rights of individuals when stopped by the police.”
