IT IS OUR BELIEF THAT OFFENDERS THAT WORK THE PROGRAM CAN BECOME PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS. STUDIES SHOW THAT 97% OF OFFENDERS INCARCERATED IN THE STATE OF MISSOURI WILL SOME DAY RETURN TO OUR COMMUNITY. WITH 34% OF OFFENDERS RETURNING BACK TO THE CORRECTION SYSTEM AFTER BEING RELEASE FROM PRISON, THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS EMBRACED THE MISSOURI REENTRY PROGRAM MODEL IN AN EFFORT TO REDUCE RECIDIVISM.
