“Hollywood unites for haiti's mission is to promote sports, cultural activities and vocational training through mentoring the underpriviledge youth of haiti. Most significant activities includes, the rebuilding of school cadet in the aftermath of the january 12th earthquake. Secondly, a new cafeteria was built in 2011 to feed the children”

“In 2014,hufh continues to face financial hardship. In spite of very limited source of income, hufh continues to follow through with its mission to provide education to young children in haiti. Hufh has maintained its financial support for school cadet, espoir san faim which allowed the school to deliver all its school programs for the full academic school year. Project okade, is a rebuilding project that entailed the reconstruction of elementary school, espoir sans faim in the town cadet.it is designed to accommodate three hundred (300) children, the school currently has one hundred twenty (120 children) and is provided with three buildings with seven classes. Other buildings are being built to accommodate more children, benches and tables furnish the new classroom space and faculty veteran are ready to supervise the children. In addition to hufh continous financial support in the administration of the school, in 2011, a new cafeteria was built, equipped with a warehouse, a kitchen and a dining room..... The introduction of this free hot lunch program benefit the underpriviledged parents and children who can't afford to feed their children while at school. 2015 has been extremely challenging in securing funding/contributions. Hufh's original mission remains the same. The number of students remains at 120 during the year. We aim to increase the number of students and adding on more programs to further benefit the children and their community.”
