Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

Fiscal year 2023-2024 was a landmark year for community arts experience, inc. (cae), marked by the acquisition of a new 12,000 sq. Ft. Facility at 75 mercer avenue in wheatland, pennsylvania. This milestone ensured the continuity of our programs following the sudden and unexpected loss of our previous lease and positioned cae for future growth. The new space accommodates all our operations and offers additional opportunities for revenue generation through rentals and leases, reinforcing our long-term vision for sustainability and community impact. Building on this foundation, cae achieved key programmatic and operational advancements. The launch of the cae networktm and cae recovery connectortm platforms transformed our service delivery model, streamlining participant tracking, referrals, and financial management. Another highlight was the completion of cae's first opioid docuseries, supported by the mercer county opioid settlement fund. This project showcases personal stories of addiction and recovery, engaging youth ambassadors from our stomp program in the creative process. With over 17,000 digital views to date, the docuseries exemplify cae's leadership in leveraging media to address stigma and inspire resilience. Our health and wellness initiative flourished with programs like the weekly line dance program, fostering physical activity and connection for 28 regular participants. Additionally, the friday night live music & art exhibition, supported by the mercer county behavioral health commission, drew 78 participants, 92% of whom reported strengthened community ties and recovery journeys. This year, cae served 122 individuals-109 adults and 13 youth-through diverse programs addressing behavioral health, resilience, and community engagement. A 15% increase in enrollment, driven by our partnership with one kingdom ministries, highlights the growing reach and impact of cae's offerings.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0COMMUNITY ARTS EXPERIENCE (C.A.E.) EXISTS TO EMPOWER, SERVE, AND PROMOTE COMMUNITY AND INDIVIDUAL WELL-BEING THROUGH ARTS-INFUSED EXPERIENCES. TO PROMOTE WELL-BEING AND SUCCESS OF OUR PARTICIPANTS, C.A.E. ACKNOWLEDGES THE IMPORTANCE OF REMOVING BARRIERS AND IMPROVING ACCESS TO VITAL RESOURCES. TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL, C.A.E. WORKS WITH A NETWORK OF COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO ESTABLISH A COMPREHENSIVE AND COORDINATED SYSTEM OF SERVICES THAT CONNECTS PARTICIPANTS WITH MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT, AFFORDABLE HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, CHILDCARE, QUALITY EDUCATION, AND PROGRAMS FOR PREVENTING AND TREATING OPIOID AND SUBSTANCE MISUSE. C.A.E. PROVIDES AN ALL-INCLUSIVE LEARNING SYSTEM ENCOMPASSING PHYSICAL, ECONOMIC, PSYCHOLOGICAL, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING THROUGH ARTISITC EXPRESSION. ITS AIM IS TO EMPOWER PARTICIPANTS WITH THE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND VALUES TO ACHIEVE THEIR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL AND EMERGE AS INFLUENTIAL CHANGE LEADERS IN THEIR HOMES AND COMMUNITIIES, LEAVING A LASTING LEGACY FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt1FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 WAS A LANDMARK YEAR FOR COMMUNITY ARTS EXPERIENCE, INC.

ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0THE DELAY IN FILING WAS PRIMARILY CAUSED BY UNEXPECTED ADMINISTRATIVE CHALLENGES AND KEY STAFF TURNOVERS DURING THE REPORTING PERIOD. THESE CIRCUMSTANCES SIGNIFICANTLY DELAYED THE PROCESS OF GATHERING THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE FILING. ADDITIONALLY, DELAYS IN THE RECEIPT OF CRITICAL FUNDING AWARDS FURTHER IMPACTED OUR ABILITY TO SECURE SERVICES NEEDED TO FINALIZE THE FORM 990 SUBMISSION. WE DEEPLY REGRET THIS DELAY AND ASSURE YOU THAT OUR ORGANIZATION TAKES ITS COMPLIANCE OBLIGATIONS SERIOUSLY. TO PREVENT SUCH OCCURRENCES IN THE FUTURE, WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED THE FOLLOWING MEASURES: STREAMLINED INTERNAL PROCESSES FOR DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT. SECURED CONTINGENCY PLANS FOR STAFFING TO AVOID DISRUPTIONS IN ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS. IMPROVED COORDINATION WITH FUNDING SOURCES TO ENSURE TIMELY AVAILABILITY OF RESOURCES. WE RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT YOU ACCEPT THIS EXPLANATION AND PROCESS OUR FORM 990 ACCORDINGLY.
