Mission

The Renaissance Project is a small not-for-profit based in Land O' Lakes, Florida that gives bright, deserving young people from around the world a chance at their American Dream. The Renaissance Project provides these students and their families with amazing opportunities. We house, feed, and clothe our students, while our partner school Academy at the Lakes, helps prepare them for college and beyond. Together, along with our network of friends and supporters, we help steward each child as they grow to become adults, ambassadors, and the future leaders of our world. For the past three years we have partnered with United Schools to run a "revenue generating" program with traditional paying students.

We use the revenue generated from paying students to underwrite the charity efforts including housing, feeding, and staffing. We partner with an independent school, but are an independent organization and operate independently.

This was our first year running a hybrid program with paying students to help us pay our bills. The children in our care have excelled at school and we will graduate our first student this year. Our students are members of National Honor Society, average 3.9 GPA, have scored multiple 5 scores on AP exams, and are well rounded individual involved in music, academics, and sports. We are proud that our first graduating student received a full scholarship from Bucknell University.
