“Parents united of salem, inc. (puos) is formed to assure that salem, a historical seaside community located on massachusetts north shore, is a healthy and prosperous place in which to live. Through community service, enrichment, educational programs, recreation rehabilitations, community organizing and advocacy, puos will work to encourage citizens to take an active role in protecting the diverse growth of the city and surroundings. Together with its members and other interested parties, public and private, puos will endeavor to revitalize salems public open space, public commons and playgrounds, to promote the efficient use of such space for long term preservation.”
