To plan, organize and conduct community activities and educational programs for use by the general public and to enhance the qualifty of life for the community; and to support improvement of the community, to attract new businesses to the community and to cultivate tourism; and to receive and administer funds for the benefit of the community, and to that end to take and hold by bequest, devise, gift, pruchase or lease, either absolutely or in trust, any property, real or personal or mixed, without limitation as to amount or value except such limitations, if any, as may be imposed by law; and to do such other lawful acts or activities to accomlish its charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(6) of the interal revenue code of 1986 and its regulations as they hereafter be amended.

THIS PEAK SPRING BIRD MIGRATION EVENT INCLUDES PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS, BIRDING, WILDLIFE AND WETLAND VENDOR DISPLAYS, CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS AND SELF GUIDED TOURS OF OHIO'S LARGEST INLAND WETLAND COMPLEX COVERING 5,512 ACRES. THE EVENT IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND OFFERS WORKSHOPS WHICH INSTRUCT THE PUBLIC ON TOPICS RELATING TO THE WILDLIFE AND WETLANDS WHICH ENCOMPASS A LARGE PORTION OF THE SHREVE COMMUNITY.--

The organization co-sponsored the annual shreve spring migration sensation. This peak spring bird migration event includes professional workshops, birding, wildlife and wetland vendor displays, children's programs and self guided tours of ohio's largest inland wetland complex covering 5,512 acres. The event is open to the general public and offers workshops which instruct the public on topics relating to the wildlife and wetlands which encompass a large portion of the shreve community.

The organization sponsors several community events which promote the collaboration of community members, businesses and organizations and allows the community an opportunity to attract people to the area and promote its businesses to the general public. Such events inlcude the shreve fireworks, shreve homecoming, christmas at the library, and other various events throughout the year. The organization also made contributions to organizations which also promote the growth, success and social welfare community.
