The corporation shall plan, coordinate, and distribute grant funds for the benefit of the community healthcare entities participating in the indiana bioterrorism and preparedness district 2.
The corporation shall plan, coordinate, and submit applications for grant funds and distribute grant funds for the benefit of the community hospitals participating in the indiana hospital bioterrorism and preparedness district 2. The indiana counties comprising district 2 are elkhart, fulton, kosciusko, marshall, pulaski, starke, and st. Joseph.the funds directly distributed to the hospitals are used primarily to increase the hospitals' ability to respond to emergency/disaster situations. In addition, district 2 hospital emergency planning committee will also use funds received to purchase equipment and supplies to be used for and by all of the district 2 hospitals to better respond to emergency/disaster situations.
