| Mission Projects: In 2024, we had a 30-member Work and Witness team from Valley Church in Piqua, Ohio. They worked on a Sunday School room addition to a church we had previously built in Tocoa. The church had previously sent down a small group of mechanics in March to work on the truck that had been sent down. We also had training time with them and were able to share the gospel with them. Good relationships have been developed. This same team also painted the second longest bridge in Honduras with the help of the firemen, policemen and local church of Saba, Colon. It has all been a very positive experience. We also met with the firemen and local church of La Ceiba, Atlantida. We have been developing a relationship with the firemen in the communities where our churches are located as an outreach to the community. Our focus is to get the church out of the building and into the community. We want to be a positive testimony for the governmental institution and help people understand we need not wait for the government to provide all the needs. Together, much can be accomplished to God's honor. Valley Church sent down the second fire truck specifically for the La Ceiba stations. They had capacitation meetings with the firemen on how to run the different functions of the new truck which is valued at around $500,000.00. They also sent down approximately $100,000.00 of equipment for the fire station. The experience has been very positive, and we were able to have times of testimony and united church services with them. In one of the events, the mayor of La Ceiba attended with his staff. He presented the Valley Church with the Key to the City. Local news media arrived which provided an opportunity to once again announce publicly that all that has been done is for the Honor and Glory of God. On that same trip, the team spent two days at the Calan School doing maintenance and programs with the children. The students also held a program for the team. Due to that interaction, Valley Church congregation has decided to add the Calan Christian School to the partnership that we have had with them since 2014. | - | $76,960 |
| Support to Honduran Children: We continue to support the Honduran Children in the schools. We have had the opportunity and privilege to develop a tutor-mentorship program to help the children catch up with their education after over two years of COVID lock downs. When the children finally were able to return to church after the long absence, it was discovered that many up to the age of 10 could not read or write. The program provides education as well as spiritual development. It has been a blessing to the families as well as the public-school teachers. We continue to do our best to carry on this ministry as the needs are overwhelming. The results have been very positive and a real blessing. A second Work and Witness team arrived in August from Sandpoint, Idaho Church of the Nazarene to do some maintenance and construction at the school as well as ministry events with the children. Once again, the students provided an excellent cultural presentation for the team. The positive, relational experience that the team had with the school, also resulted in student sponsorships. We are thankful for what God does through these events. | - | $67,873 |
| Ministerial Support: We continue with the leadership development classes and I have had the opportunity to teach classes on the zone we work with as well as the district on the North Coast and the South-Central District. Approximately 60 students attended. We also had a conference on the South-Central District with a volunteer from the states. Approximately 100 people attended. | - | $6,740 |
