Part II Line 24

In October 2024, the organization's vehicle, an Ford F-150, was traded in for a different Ford truck. The F-150, and its corresponding Depreciation, were removed from the books. The F-150's value at the beginning of the year, minus the truck's trade-in value and 9.5 months of depreciation for this year, left a modest net gain on the truck's disposal. This amount, $1,775, is reported in Part I, Line 5c. - Beginning Of Year Amount: 49165 End Of Year Amount:0

Part II Line 24

In October, for the trade-in of the F-150, plus a portion of unrestricted Net Assets, the organization purchased a new 2023 Ford Bronco. The Bronco's starting value, as of its October date of purchase, was $73,055. Since we did not own the Bronco at the beginning of the year, we left that amount at $0. The year-end amount has been lowered by the 2.5 months of this asset's Depreciation. We calculate Depreciation based on a 5-year span of useful life. - Beginning Of Year Amount: 0 End Of Year Amount:70011

Part II Line 26

Loan -- SBA EIDL Disaster Loan (COVID) - Beginning Of Year Amount: 60750 End Of Year Amount:54188

Part II Line 26

Shareholder Loan by Darcy Woessner (ED), to help purchase Ford Bronco in October. [Because ED forgot the check, balance owed after trade-in was put on organization's debit card. The bank had a $20,000 limit on debit card transactions, so ED put the remaining $3,055 on her personal credit card.] - Beginning Of Year Amount: 0 End Of Year Amount:3055

Part II Line 26

Other Liabilities (impacted Fund Balances): Project Horse implemented a new accounting system during the end of 2024. As part of the migration to the new system, we experienced some opening balance issues (where the new software incorrectly converted balances for some accounts). As a result, we needed to make some adjustments in order to get all year-end fund balances properly aligned (for the end of 2024 / start of 2025). - Beginning Of Year Amount: 0 End Of Year Amount:28231

Part IV N/A

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: As the Executive Director of Project Horse, Ms. Woessner was provided a very modest stipend, as a subcontractor, for her work with clients and their families in 2024. The amount of the monthly stipend accrued during 2024, and it was paid out by the organization, to Ms. Woessner, in the beginning of 2025.

Part III 28

Program service accomplishments: equine assisted services and programs ? A) equine assisted mental health services: non-riding psychotherapy services consisting of individual, family or group behavioral therapy sessions. These are conducted by licensed therapists and certified equine specialists, utilizing horses as integral partners in the therapy process. Project horse served 42 individuals in therapy this year. B) equine assisted wellness programs (group workshops, teambuilding, day camps): non-riding wellness programs, led by counselors and/or equine specialists, consisting of experiential activities with horses. The focus is on building skills around interpersonal relationships, leadership, connection and communication, as well as any other personal growth and development areas. Project horse served 67 individuals in its wellness programs this year. *** through its equine assisted services and programs in 2024, project horse supported the mental health and wellbeing of a total of 109 individuals through its direct services. This figure is made up of child, adolescent and adult participants of various ages. Additionally, we estimate supporting another 305 individuals, as indirect beneficiaries of our services in 2024, like siblings, parents, caregivers and teachers. ***

Part IV N/A

Part V 38

Additional information: a) regarding a personal loan that was made by the ms. Woessner, the ed, to the organization in october 2024. This small loan was made to assist the organization in its purchase of a new vehicle. Additional detail is provided in schedule l. B) regarding personal benefit contracts: the organization did not, during the year, receive any funds, directly or indirectly, to pay premiums on a personal benefit contract. IRS990ScheduleL/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0Loans To/From Interested Persons: Ms. Woessner, the ED, made a small loan of $3,055 to Project Horse in October 2024. This loan was made when Project Horse needed $23,055 in cash to finalize its purchase of a new Ford Bronco for the organization's use. The bank limited Project Horse's debit card transactions to a total of $20,000, so Ms. Woessner put the remaining $3,055 due on her own personal credit card. The Board approved this loan, and it was decided that: a) No payment on the loan would be required of Project Horse before 2025; b) The loan would not accrue interest during 2024; and c) If the loan was repaid, written off, or converted in 2025, then it would remain interest-free.
