Our finance committee does the internal review of the 990 and then shares it with the full board with any comment/concerns. The full board provides approval of the 990 before filing.

The policy is explained and reviewd at annual meeting and new board member orientation. Employees and board members are required to complete a conflict of interest disclosure prior to service. These are updated annually, unless the employee/director was brought in and has completed the conflict of interest in the past 90 days. Should any potential conflict arise, it is presented to the executive commitee and/or full board for review.

Career and image coaching: individual sessions where trained career coaches help clients with resumes, cover letters, interview prep, navigating job search strategy, assessing transferable skills; image coaches aid with selecting professional attire, shoes, accessories, for client's interview and once they are hired. In 2024 we provided 764 career coaching and 720 image coaching sessions. Going place network (job acquisition/job readiness) a cohort-based program with weekly sessions offering training, one-on-one career coaching, networking, mock interviews, assessments, and community support. In 2024, there were 104 graduates of gpn. Mobile boutique/ "suiting" services: two mobile boutiques that travel to high schools, colleges, and community events, where women can receive free professional clothing for interviews or employment. One focuses on the triangle area of nc; the other is located in eastern nc. In 2024, 2,211 clients visited one of our mobile boutiques.
