Mission

Please see schedule o the organization's mission is to combat deterioration of neighborhoods in baltimore city and the surrounding counties (the "baltimore metropolitan area") with lower income residents; to provide new opportunities for decent affordable housing to low and moderate income people in the baltimore metropolitan area with the goal that a majority of the households benefiting from these opportunities have incomes qualifying for various federally-funded housing programs or federal tax incentives for provision of affordable housing.

Due to their tax exempt status, the corporation is not subject to income taxes. The corporation is required to file and does file a tax return with the irs and other taxing authorities.
