IN FEBRUARY 60 EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF DULUTH WERE TRAINED IN THE PRINCIPLES OF THE NATURAL STEP.ON MARCH 13 THE STP PRESIDENT SPOKE TO 50 PEOPLE AT LEADERSHIP DULUTH'S SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITITIES DAY AT THE DECC.ON APRIL 19TH SUSTAINABLE TWIN PORTS RECEIVED THE 2013 MILTON E. PELLETIER ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO ENVIORNMENTAL STEWARDSHIP OF THE ST. LOUIS RIVER AREA, AWARDED BY THE ST. LOUIS RIVER ALLIANCE.STP SPONSORED DINE SUSTAINABLY WEEK IN APRIL, WITH FIVE RESTAURANTS HIGHLIGHTING THEIR SUSTAINABLE ACTIONS TO THEIR CUSTOMERS DURING THE WEEK.ON JUNE 7 TWO STP BOARD MEMBERS ATTENDED AND PRESENTED AT THE NECERTS CLEAN ENERGY TOUR, WITH 20 PEOPLE ATTENDING. STP SPONSORED HARVEST FEST ONCE AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER.ON SEPTEMBER 17 TWO STP BOARD MEMBERS ATTENDED AND PRESENTED AT THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR AT THE DECC.ON OCTOBER 3RD 100 PEOPLE ATTENDED OUR EARLY ADOPTER SHOWCASE.SUSTAINABLE TWIN PORTS MAINTAINED ITS WEBSITE AND FACEBOOK PAGE, CONTINUED A LONG-STANDING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ALLIANCE FOR SUSTAINABILITY IN WISCONSIN, AND HAD MEMBERSHIPS IN THE MINNESOTA COUNCIL OF NONPROFITS AND THE DULUTH AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
