Mission

The McLean Game Refuge is a nature preserve of over 4,400 acres in the towns of Granby, Simsbury, and Canton, Connecticut. This preserve carries out one of the public and charitable purposes set forth in the will of Senator George P. McLean. The Refuge is open year round to the public for nature study and recreation without charge. It is recognized by the National Park Service as a National Nature Area.
