“To provide students preparing for the ministry the opportunity to serve as minister of education in an area church. These students serve under the supervision of their pastors in the areas of evangelism, discipleship, starting new bible study units and leadership developement. The students are partnered with christian educators who are considered excellent practitioners in a heatlhy, growing church. Students meet with these mentors twice a month in a mentoring relationship. Monthly, the students are introduced to a national leader and are provided an opportunity to network. The combination of training, on-the-job experience, mentoring, consulting and networking are the ingredients to successfully strengthen churches and develop new and existing leadership.”
