Supplemental Narrative

Additional Explanations

Form 990, Part III, Line 2

In 2024, due to the conflict in israel, miba shifted its focus from leading outbound delegations of michigan business leaders to israel, to instead hosting israeli startups and companies in michigan through inbound delegations.

Form 990, Part IX, Line 11G

Contractual services 229,124.

FORM 990, PART XII, LINE 2C:

The process for selecting and overseeing the independent auditor has not changed from the prior year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Miba has been classified by the internal revenue service ("irs") as an organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code ("irc"). Miba evaluates uncertain income tax positions which would impact their nontaxable status or result in unrelated business income tax, and believe there are no uncertain income tax positions of significance that are required to be recorded or disclosed in these consolidated financial statements. Management analyzed the organizations' income tax filing positions in the federal and state jurisdictions where they are required to file income tax returns, for all open tax years in these jurisdictions, to identify potential uncertain tax positions. Management has concluded that there are no significant uncertain tax positions requiring recognition in the organizations' consolidated financial statements. Generally, the organization is no longer subject to income tax examinations for years prior to fiscal 2021.

IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0MIBA HAS BEEN CLASSIFIED BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE ("IRS") AS AN ORGANIZATION EXEMPT FROM FEDERAL INCOME TAX UNDER SECTION 501(C)(6) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE ("IRC").
