“Program Service Accomplishments:Street Lawyers, Social Services & Anti-TraffickingStreet Lawyers Legal protection: 387 legal representation cases were completed, with 24 more ongoing. These include cases involving theft, vagrancy, prostitution, fighting, and drug-related charges. Legal documents: Street Lawyers helped 246 children obtain legal documents required for school enrollment and access to government benefits. Total completed legal cases in 2024: 633Social Services Social workers on the Street Lawyers team work to end child labor, prevent domestic abuse, provide medical care, and connect children with psychosocial services. Social workers served 108 children through medical attention, family mediation, and abuse prevention. The team also supported young people seeking employment after incarceration or to help support their families.Anti-Trafficking The anti-trafficking unit of the Street Lawyers team completed 100 cases, with 27 more ongoing. The team also conducted community awareness sessions focused on trafficking prevention and child protection.Hope Buses & School Transitions 152 children attended Hope Buses 1, 2, and 3, either full- or part-time. More than 36,000 nutritious meals were provided to students. 100% of children received new clothes and shoes. 90% of attending children successfully avoided child labor. ICF contributed to the local economy through hiring local teachers and social workers, and purchasing food, clothing, and school supplies locally.School Transitions (Support for Hope Bus Graduates) Daily minibus transportation to public schools served up to 50 children. Assistance provided with school enrollment and obtaining required documents. Starting School packs distributed, including stationery, hygiene supplies, clothes, and shoes. A small mobile team monitored Hope Bus graduates for at least three years. Emergency and special needs fund available for medical, psychosocial, and nutritional support. Annual Hope Bus family celebration and check-in held for participating families.Girls Centers (Mosul) Al Qawsiyat Center for Girls This Safe Space for adolescent girls served up to 50 vulnerable girls per day (404 girls registered in total), many from families displaced by ISIS who have since returned to Mosul. Support included addressing trauma, psychological distress, and gender-based violence through individual and group therapy. Educational services offered included computer literacy and access to a small library. Activities included sports, sewing, crafts, and medical care.Al Mubdiyaat Center for Girls This Safe Space opened in 2024 and served approximately 50 girls per day, with 135 girls registered in total. In addition to the services offered by Al Qawsiyat Center, this new center also provided additional tuition support for high school girls. In response to feedback from the girls and parents, the center staff have also created a mini library system, procuring textbooks that girls can borrow, which were previously unattainable due to cost factors. Disability Support Services (Fallujah) ICF supports a disability clinic in Fallujah providing physical rehabilitation, psychosocial support, and medical care and equipment. The clinic also operates a mobile outreach service for home visits and community awareness. In total, 3,101 services were provided to children, including:o 1,057 medical consultationso 1,019 psychosocial support sessionso 1,025 physical rehabilitation servicesRamadan Food Baskets 750 individuals received food assistance, equivalent to an estimated 67,500 meals.”
